The Great Basin Basket CSA is grateful to bring local, sustainable, family farms' produce direct to you. This year, the season has been expanded to bring you 32 weeks of baskets, April through mid-December!
At the Basket, we strive to bring the farm to you by offering the most seasonal, local, sustainably grown produce in our area as we weave communities one basket at a time. Meet your farmers and partner with them for a healthier family…yours, the farmer's and the planet!
Once you have tried the taste of local food it's difficult to settle for anything else, so prepare to be pleasantly surprised! From us, you receive only get the finest, freshest, most flavorful local seasonal produce available, and often what you may find in your basket will be unusual or heirloom varieties that you might not otherwise have the chance to enjoy.
There are several basket options and pick-up locations available. Choose what best suits your family and, if you'd like to add something extra special to your regular basket, visit our specials page for flowers, grass-fed beef, Fruit Shares, and other value-added products throughout the season.
If you'd like to know what is happening down on the farm, you can read farmer Tina Smith's weekly newsletters and then check out her great recipes for what you'll find in your basket. Archived newsletters are available here. Enjoy!
Thank you for joining with us today in building a sustainable community for tomorrow.
