Green Onion Garlic Chickpea Spread (Hummus)

3 c. cooked chickpeas, fresh or canned
½ c. tahini plus more to taste
1/3 c. chopped parsley
¾ tsp. salt plus more to taste
½ c. chopped green onions
½ c. freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 cloves minced garlic
¼ tsp. ground cumin and a pinch cayenne

Put all ingredients in a food processor and process until they form a thick paste. Season to taste.
