1c. mashed berries
1c. sugar
3 tbl. cornstarch
1/2c. water
2tbl. butter

Cook all ingredients except butter until thick. Turn off heat and add butter. Meanwhile, slice fresh berries into a baked pie shell. Let cooked mixture cool slightly. Pour over fresh berries. Serve with whipped cream on top when cool.
